UPDATE: we are switching up the March meeting based on feedback and observation. The goal will be to give new beekeepers the basic knowledge they need to get started with their packages later this month. If you are a more experienced member, we encourage you to attend to learn and assist!

We will start at 6:30 by doing a hands-on clinic on how to start your smoker and keep it running. Bring your smoker and whatever you will be using to light it. We will supply the fuel.

Then, we will do a demo of an install and give you the chance to practice using our "virtual bees".

Finally, we'll give you the straight facts and demo on what and how to feed your new package bees. 

We will finish by sharing additional resources for you to review on how to wax new frames. This is an important step to complete before installing your new bees.
