Upcoming ERB Events:
In our March meeting, come learn what needs to be done to support spring bees. For those who are new, we will cover how to install packages. For those who have overwintered bees, we will discuss what should be ready for when the nectar flow starts.
Today's the day to pick up your package bees!
Specific time and location will be confirmed a few days prior since this activity is heavily weather dependent. Please monitor email and socials.
It's critical that the bees be placed into their boxes within 24 hours of receiving them. Please plan to do your installations by the afternoon of Sunday March 30 at the latest.
We will be providing instructions on how to install packages when you pick them up. Here is also a video made by Ken showing how to install your bees.
The April meeting will offer two tracks:
Advanced track: split demo/hands on
Beginner track: swarm prevention & trapping
Our May club meeting will feature a beekeeper panel and hive inspection workshop. Come learn tricks from the pros!
Join us for our annual family picnic. We'll be providing workshops and activities for adults and children.
Lunch will be provided for 2025 paid club members. Guest lunches will be available for an additional charge.
The event is free; however, we do request that you register to help us plan food.
At our July meeting, we'll be having a dual-track meeting that focuses on summer feeding and pest management. Please join us!
